Overview
Technical overview.
Technical overview
CY-2 is a compact wireless data link for platforms that need video, telemetry, serial transport, and IP access in one system.
Interfaces
Ethernet, UART, and USB connect the radio to cameras, controllers, payload devices, and onboard compute.
Deployment model
One unit goes on the platform and one stays with the operator for monitoring, video access, and service-side connectivity.

Functions
Video, telemetry, serial, and IP transport.
Video transport
Carry camera video from the platform to the operator side as part of the same link used for the rest of the system.
Telemetry bridge
Move vehicle state, autopilot telemetry, and mission data between the platform and the ground side.
UART serial transport
Support serial workflows for embedded devices, payload logic, autopilots, and custom modules.
Ethernet and IP tunnel
Provide ground-side access to dashboards, onboard compute, IP cameras, and diagnostics.
USB payload interface
Connect host-side or camera-side USB workflows where the platform or operator setup depends on them.
Deployment
Vehicle and ground unit deployment.
One unit installs on the platform. One stays with the operator for monitoring, video access, and service-side connectivity.

Interfaces
Ethernet, UART, and USB interfaces.
Interface set
- Ethernet for payload devices, IP cameras, and onboard computers
- UART for telemetry and serial payload communication
- USB for camera or host-side integration
- Web UI for configuration and monitoring
Typical use
- Air-ground video and telemetry
- Payload control and diagnostics
- Ground station access to onboard IP devices
- Evaluation and field testing
Monitoring
Local web monitoring.
Local web monitoring
Review link state, packet activity, and service availability from the local web interface.
Operational context
Use service and health indicators to validate the system faster during setup and field checks.

Packaging
Compact enclosure, usable connector layout.
Connector access is treated as part of the product so teams can install, service, and test the system without awkward packaging compromises.
